We launched the Treat Me Wight IOW Guide app because there wasn't a good one. There isn't a good shopping guide for visitors to find interesting, independent retailers anywhere either!
ADD YOUR IOW SHOP TO THE SHOPPING GUIDE.....?
If, for example, you know 5% of people are interested in what you sell then that's 7000 of the island's 140,000 population....many probably already know you and follow your social media. Last year there were 2.6M visitors most of whom came here between April and October....they don't know you or see your social media. So....that 5% is now 130,000 people visiting the island that have an interest in what you sell.
The problem is unless your based in a touristy area they're not walking past your shop. Realistically they're probably not even looking for you anyway - they are on holiday so doing 'holiday things' .
HOWEVER....
We can put you on their radar by placing YOUR destination page in amongst those covering the things holidaymakers ARE looking for - destinations, deals, weather and what's on. We can also show them you're just up the road / round the corner on our What's Nearby map feature and in our Shopping & Treats section.
They're into what you sell, they weren't looking for you but now they know you're there....some of them will come take a look....!!
