Treat Me Wight was launched to do three things....

• Provide island visitors with a useful island guide on their phone. Bringing together, in one app, the info they need whilst here saves them visiting numerous other sites and lots of googling!
• Make the app as useful for island residents as it is for visitors - local news, jobs, radio, volunteering, roadworks alert and what's on etc.
• Provide island businesses with a new marketing platform that's a low cost, content-flexible alternative to current media choices especially print media. Also great if they regularly have deals or offers.

Q: How much to add my business with a DESTINATION page and when do I pay?

DESTINATION pages on the app cost £175 for 3 months, £200 for six, £275 for nine or £300 for 12 months. You will be sent a PAYMENT LINK once you have approved your sample page(s) on the app. Once payment is received your page(s) will go fully live and searchable. 

NOTE - unless a summer only business we recommend 12 months as app is used by residents and visitors. It will cost less than £6 per week!!

Q: What's Included in a DESTINATION page?

It has a logo, gallery, overview paragraph and info bullet points, optional promo video and buttons for Website, Call You and Map Link. An optional DEAL page is also included in the price.

Q: How do people find my page on the app?

A DESTINATION page is searchable via Destinations, Map Search (IPhone), Browse All, Catergory Search, Look Up and for some features such as Sunday Club and Surf n Turf (coming soon).

Q: What's a DEAL page?

A DEAL page has similar info but also acts as a voucher. You can add (or remove) a free DEAL page at any time if you have a Destination page running. Most businesses only have one in the low season but if you regularly have promotions and offers they make sense. Just click on the 'ACCEPT' button when a customer asks for the deal and shows you the app page. A DEAL page can be used once every 24 hours. Deal pages only appear in the DEALS section of the app.

NOTE - Destination and Deals pages are separate because you don't only want new customers because your have an offer on. Destination pages actually get up to 7 times more views than Deal pages - not everyone is looking for a deal. Unlike other discounting platforms there are no 'deal guidelines' so just offer what's right for you. The customer pays you directly so no waiting for your money and there is no commission paid to us. 

 Q: Do you create our pages?

Yes. We can create a sample page on the app using info from your social media and website content (that you've already approved) for you to then edit. Alternatively send us what we need via COPY SUPPLY form.

Q: We can have a video on our page too?

Yes included in price, a YouTube link is ideal but you can send us a mp4 video and we can add it in via our YT channel and link it that way. We can however also create an AI Video Promo for you simply from a few images and a script. You can specify the presenter type and location, even the weather. You can then use this not only on your app page but also elsewhere. A 20-30 second AI promo creation is £150. Call us....

Q: Can i change the copy on my pages once live?

Yes. You can update text, change images and add promo videos to your pages at any time and as often as you wish. Changes are currently done by us and are live within 24 hours. We are already developing the next version of the app will allow you to do this instantly.

Q: How do you market the app?

The app is advertised at ferry terminals, on local radio, social media and we work closely with our customers on joint marketing with everything from posters, roadside banners and beer mats to QR codes in accommodation welcome packs!

What are the viewing stats so far?

Overview data to June 1st 2026,  

• 67,837 views (app opened)
• Average visit length of 5.23 minutes (really good for an app like this).
• Average repeat visit rate of 17.48.
• Total event count 255,750 (click, scroll and button press etc). 

Top 10 buttons clicks (in order) were Browse All, What's On, Destinations, LookUp, Deals, Weather n Tides, Takeaway Tonight, Roadworks Alert, Sunday Club and Volunteering.

Q: Can we send a message about us to app users?

Yes. Nudges are a short message sent out to all app users so ideal for events or something special going on. First 'welcome' nudge is free from us and sent out week your page(s) goes live on app. Nudges then cost £30 each or you can buy 4 for £100. This is done HERE .
