Most beaches will have signage showing any seasonal changes and permitted times and areas but as a guide to year-round dog-friendly beaches the following are all good........
Alum Bay: Dogs are allowed but must be kept on a lead.
Bembridge Beach: A peaceful beach with sand and shingle, allowing dogs all year.
Colwell Bay: A section of the beach is dog-friendly all year.
Seagrove Beach: Dogs are permitted all year.
St Helen's Beach: Allows dogs all year with no restrictions.
Whitecliff Bay: No seasonal restrictions for dogs.
Ryde Beach: Dogs are allowed all year to the left of the pier.
Appley Beach: The Seaview end of the beach is dog-friendly.
Locals will know other less well known, smaller (and perhaps less accessible) beaches that are great for dogs too. If visiting the island always ask your hotel or campsite staff for local recommendations.
